With over 30 years of Investment Management experience, Ed Munshower founded Terrace Creek Capital in 2011. Immediately prior, he held the position of Managing Director and Director of Asset Management for Citigroup. For over nine years, Ed managed investment professionals in offices around the world, focusing on the discretionary management of Citi’s Ultra High Net Worth clients’ assets in The Private Bank, Consumer Bank, Smith Barney and Korea Trust business units.

As Head of Asset Management, Ed’s responsibilities included asset

allocation, development of investment processes and disciplines, risk management, client service, product development and regulatory and compliance functions.

​At Citigroup, Ed was on the Bank’s Global Investment Committee and was Chairman of the Global Portfolio Committee, which set the asset allocation policy for Citigroup’s asset management clients. He was also Chairman of Citigroup’s Luxembourg based Funds and a member of Citigroup’s 401K Investment Committee.

Prior to Citigroup, Ed spent 17 years at Mackay Shields LLC, an asset management company, where he held various positions leading up to Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. He was responsible for managing assets for individuals, mutual funds, endowments, charitable organizations and pension plans. 

​Ed received a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Emory University and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business. He is a Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant (CMFC).​

​Ed was on the Board of Directors and was Chairman of the Investment Committee for the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, a nonprofit organization he was involved with from 2001-2020. He was awarded a mayoral citation from Mayor Bloomberg for his active participation with the Fund.

 

Ed was a member of the Fordham University Parents' Leadership Council from 2015-2018. Additionally, he mentors students and recent graduates regarding careers in finance-related professions.

 

From 2012 to 2017, Ed has held Chairman and Committee Membership roles in various Investment, Finance, and Strategy Committees within the Archdiocese of New York. Ed has received the St. Catherine of Siena Award for Distinguished Service and Leadership.

​From 2002 through 2009 Ed was a member of the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, the Governance Committee and the Investment Committee for the Municipal Assistance Corporation for the City of New York. He has also served as an advisor and a member of the Board of Directors for Children’s Progress, Inc. from 2001-2012.​
